The Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Mercuri Urval was the celebrated in Malta during a trip themed “In Search of Excellence”

We held the check-in for every guest in an exclusive section of the hotel where we branded the whole place with Mercuri Urval colours and logos. Upon arrival each participant was given a custom bag envelope including personalised tags and a full itinerary of the next two days.

Hosting 550 delegates from all over the world, the conference was held at the Hilton Convention Centre, whereas the group, due to its size, was split in two hotels; the Hilton and the Westin Dragonara. The Audio Visual set-up dominated the Grand Master’ Suite with a 14-metre screen and a 3-tier round staging all decorated with LED lighting. In the evening, the group had dinner at the Hilton Grand Master Suite, where we dressed up the venue with bistro tables & puffy cushions, including a photo booth, taking number of photos to keep as souvenirs. A great occassion for the guests to mingle and interact with each other.

The next day, the group had a full day conference at Grand Master Suite ending with an Award winning ceremony, distributing hand made glass trophies done by Maltese glass artisans specifically for the occassion.

Following the awards cermony, we transferred the group by coaches to the Sacra Infermeria in Valletta, the chosen venue for their Gala Dinner. Torch Bearers and other medieval animators in costumes, greeted the group at the door, leading to the Sacra Infermeria Hall which was decorated with decorative traditional banners for the occassion, just like we see at oiur local festa. A cloak room was also at the clients’s disposal to leave their winter coats.

After a welcome drink & canapes, the group was headed to to the seated area; La Valette Hall, which is a beautiful venue with arches and warm lights. All tables were dressed with white linen and a red runner which blends perfectly with the venue’s main decor and also gives is a Maltese touch due to the read and white colours on our national flag.  The sound of the people wowing themselves still echoes in our ears, whilst taking photos this venues, which is truly unique. The group had a 3-course dinner with an after party, where they stayed there till 4am, with a shuttle service from MCC to the Hotels.
