The Malta Music Week was established as a celebration to the Isle of MTV Malta in 2008. The concept behind the Malta Music Week was to create a schedule of events that would build up to the biggest festival of its kind in Europe. A series of parties, mini concerts, and events put together that would form a landmark in the music calendar for youths and adults. The events span from Club nights to street concerts, beach parties and festivals in the days prior to the highlight event: The Isle of MTV Malta.
