Location, Location, Location !! 4 conference days, 3 exceptional dinners and 1 tailormade team building activity for a wintery conference.

The Livanova conference took place in Malta on February 2020 where delegates flew from all over Europe at different times of the day, where we took care of their transfers to the hotel.

After a full day conference, in the evening, we accompanied the group on foot to have Dinner at Gululu restaurant which is only 5 minutes by walk from the hotel. At this Maltese cuisine restaurant, the group was served a typical family service dinner including local wine to go with their meal.

On the third day, after lunch all the guests met in the hotel main meeting room for their activity brief and they were given a different ribbon colored hat to identify their allocated group. We left the hotel on busses to Valletta where teams were given an ipad each and they had to guess and perform several challenges throughout. This treasure hunt was themed ‘James Bond’; while they were going around the city they had to find the 27 spies hidden all around the different piazzas and streets and ask for the given clue. The hunt ended with a cup of coffee and some local pastries in one of Vallettas most popular pizzas, Piazza Regina.

Two dinners studied to the latest detail to highlight the theme given to the conference

This wasn’t the only surprise of the night. From Valletta the guests were transferred in vintage busses to Malta’s aviation museum to find its doors closed, but it was only to surprise them further once we opened the large steel doors of this venue. The 1940s theme was extenuated with the Historical airplanes as backdrops, wooden benches with vintage lanterns, a swing band who started playing upon the opening of these doors and real pilots wearing their smart vintage uniforms greeting them at the door. It was a relax dinner, where clients helped themselves to the various stations surrounding this venue and with an open bar throughout.

The next day, the group had their final planned conference. Once it was finished the guests were asked to meet again in the same venue in two hours time, but little did they know that the venue was going to be changed completely. On their return they found round tables dressed in black and black chair covers, huge and beautiful center pieces on each table with wireless lamps and a real Aston Martin on the stage – How can it be more James Bond than that! All the guests had a memorable experience especially the Bond car who stole the show on the night.
